After having breakfast, you will meet your dedicated tour guide to begin your Egypt Easter tour. Your first stop will be the Giza Pyramids a vast, elevated area located on the outskirts of modern-day Cairo, Egypt. It is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world and is renowned for being the location of the iconic Giza Pyramids, including the Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops.
Next, you will visit the iconic Great Sphinx of Giza, a limestone statue with the head of a human and the body of a lion. You will then explore the Valley Temple, a mortuary temple for King Chephren. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before heading to downtown Cairo.
In downtown Cairo, you will visit the renowned Egyptian Museum, which houses an extensive collection of over 120,000 artifacts, including the treasures of King Tutankhamun. Your guide will then take you to the old Coptic Cairo area, where you can admire the Hanging Church, the Church of St. Sergius, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, each with its own historical significance.
Continuing your tour, you will explore Islamic Cairo and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, known for its authentic Egyptian souvenirs. You can also enjoy a relaxing tea break at El Fishawy Cafe in the heart of El-Hussein Area. Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
