Embark on a 10-Day Easter Adventure in Egypt

After having breakfast, get ready for an exciting tour to visit some of Egypt's most famous sights. We'll begin with the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Khafre, and Menkaure, which are colossal structures and considered one of the wonders of the ancient world. Nearby, you'll also see the Valley Temple, built by King Chefren for mummy preservation. Next, we'll head to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, which is renowned worldwide for its extensive collection of Egyptian treasures and monuments. We'll then take a stroll through the historic downtown streets of Cairo, starting with the magnificent Salah El-din Citadel, you'll find the beautiful Mohamed Ali Mosque, known for its stunning architecture and breathtaking views of the city. In the evening, you can explore the lively Khan El Khalili Old Market and visit the historic churches of Old Cairo. To make your evening even more memorable, you can opt for a two-hour Nile River cruise. Enjoy a delicious Egyptian-style dinner while being entertained by live performances. After the cruise, you'll head back to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

After enjoying your breakfast, you'll board a short flight to Luxor. Luxor is located around 420 kilometers away from Cairo in the Nile Valley. One of the highlights of the day is a visit to the Karnak Temple, which is the largest temple remaining in Egypt. It dates back to the Middle Kingdom and used to be a significant religious hub. On the eastern bank of the Nile, you'll also have the opportunity to explore the expansive Luxor Temple complex. This temple complex was built during the New Kingdom around 1400 BCE.

Today, you'll embark on a boat to begin your journey along the Nile River. One of the places we'll visit is the Valley of the Kings. This is where you can see the rock-cut tombs of Tutankhamun and other wealthy nobles. After that, we'll head to the Colossi of Memnon, where you can see the remains of Amenhotep's memorial temple. Next, we'll visit the Temple of Hatshepsut. It's a magnificent monument that stands out in the area, surrounded by other funerary temples and tombs.

Today, as you continue your journey along the Nile, you'll pass through Esna Lock on your way to the temples at Edfu. Your guide will provide more detailed information about the significance of these temples. Inside, you'll be able to see many inscriptions that have stood the test of time. After dinner, you can relax on the boat and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Nile. The river journey will then take you to Kom Ombo. Here, you'll visit the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris. This temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris , also you can admire the wall sculptures and statues that have survived over the years. In the late afternoon, the journey will continue to Aswan, where you'll spend the night.

Today, you'll have the opportunity to visit two fascinating sites. First, you can explore the Aswan High Dam, which was built in the 1960s and completed in 1970. It was a remarkable engineering feat that significantly increased Egypt's agricultural land and doubled its power supply. However, instead of visiting the dam, you can choose to visit the Philae Temple. Construction on this temple began way back in 690 BCE and it holds great historical and cultural significance. Next, we'll head to the breathtaking Abu Simbel Temples. These temples were built in Egypt between 1279 and 1213 BCE and are truly magnificent. They are a remarkable example of ancient Egyptian architecture and art. After a day of exploration, you can enjoy a delicious dinner on the ship and spend a relaxing night onboard.

In the morning, you'll catch a flight back to Cairo. Once you arrive, we'll make sure you're taken to your hotel where you can relax and settle in. Later in the day, you'll have the option to go shopping, try some delicious Egyptian cuisine, or simply enjoy the beautiful views of the Nile River as the sun goes down. It's a great opportunity to unwind and make the most of your time in Cairo.

In a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, your tour leader will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to start your trip to Fayoum. When we arrive in Fayoum, our first stop will be the Kom Aushim Museum. It's a nice place to find guides and learn about the history of Fayoum. The museum was built in 1974 and showcases artifacts from ancient times, including paintings from Fayoum. Next, we'll visit Karanis, You can explore the city and discover two temples that are there. After that, we'll head to Hawara, which was established during the time of Amenemhet III in the eleventh Dynasty. Then, we'll go to Lake Qarun. We'll enjoy lunch by the lake and take in the beautiful scenery. Towards the end of the tour, we'll visit the Waterfall and Wadi El Rayan, a valley that stretches 673 kilometers and is 42 meters deep. Finally, we'll visit the village of Tunis and explore the pottery art school. It's a great way to experience the local culture and craftsmanship. At the end of the day, we'll spend the night in a hotel in Fayoum, where you can relax and rest.

Get ready for an exciting desert adventure! Hop into a 4x4 Jeep after breakfast, as your tour guide picks you up from your hotel. You can start your journey from Tunis Village, Qarun Lake, or any other location recommended by your guide. Wadi El Hitan was discovered in 1936 and is a protected area and natural heritage site. It's famous for its rich fossil deposits and was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site in 2005. Outside, you'll come across fossilized mangroves, whale bones, and other remnants of prehistoric marine life. Inside, there are fossils, skeletons, and more exhibits showcasing the ancient marine world. Afterward, you'll have the chance to visit Qusur El Arab and enjoy a delicious supper. Then, you'll return to the Fayoum oasis to see the Madinet Madi shrine, a cultural and historical site. On your way back to Cairo, you can take in the scenic views. Before reaching your Cairo accommodation, make a stop at the Fayoum Pyramids to explore these ancient structures. It's going to be an incredible adventure exploring the desert, discovering fossils, and immersing yourself in the rich history of the region.
