Your personal driver and tour guide will accompany you to the Bus Station, where you will board an air-conditioned bus for a comfortable 4-hour journey to the Bahariya Oasis from Cairo.
Upon arrival, our friendly local Bedouin driver-guide will warmly welcome you and take you to explore the Valley of Golden Mummies, which houses a significant collection of mummies and funerary artifacts.
Next, we will visit the Tombs of the Nobles, which date back to various periods of ancient Egyptian history, including the New Kingdom (approximately 1550–1077 BC). Inside these tombs, you will marvel at intricate and vibrant wall paintings, hieroglyphic inscriptions, and depictions of scenes from the lives of the deceased, religious rituals, and their journey to the afterlife.
Continuing the tour, we will visit the Temple of Alexander the Great, an iconic ancient Macedonian king and military conqueror who reigned in the 4th century BC. Additionally, we will explore the Temple of Ain El-Meffetla or Ein Muftella, which comprises four chapels from the 26th dynasty of ancient Egypt. These chapels were discovered by Egyptian scientists in 1939.
Afterward, indulge in a delightful lunch served in one of the Bedouin houses at the oasis before embarking on our journey to the White Desert, renowned as a top destination for Egypt's Desert Safari adventures.
En route, we will make a stop at the Valley of El Haize, one of the northernmost garrisons of the Western Desert, where the remains of a Roman fortress were discovered. As evening approaches, we will set up camp in the White Desert, allowing you to witness the breathtaking sunset and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the cream-colored sand. Your local guides will skillfully prepare a delicious dinner for you.
