We will arrange to pick you up at 7 a.m. from your hotel to begin your exciting day exploring Siwa Oasis. Our first stop will be the Alexander the Great Temple, also known as the Temple of the Oracle. According to legend, Alexander the Great sought confirmation of his divine parentage from the oracle at this temple. It is said that the gods and their entourage traversed a vast expanse of desert to reach Siwa Oasis.
Next, we will visit the nearby salt lake, where you can enjoy a unique swimming experience in its buoyant saltwater. Afterward, we will take you to Cleopatra's bathroom, also known as the spring of the sun. It is believed that Cleopatra herself used to swim in this natural spring.
Continuing our tour, we will head to the Umm Ubaydah temple, also known as the Amun temple This temple was constructed by Nectanebo, a pharaoh from the 30th Dynasty of Egypt.
To satisfy your taste buds, we will treat you to a delicious meal at Mountain Of The Dead while you savor the flavors of Siwan cuisine.
As the day progresses, we will venture into the Great Sand Sea, where you can enjoy the thrill of driving a 4x4 Jeep and take a refreshing dip in hot and cold springs. As dusk approaches, we will pause to experience the traditional Bedouin hospitality and enjoy a cup of tea before setting up our tent for the night. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can arrange accommodation in one of the excellent eco-lodges available in Siwa Oasis.
