After breakfast, your excursion begins with a visit to the Giza Pyramids, a massive ancient Egyptian structure built by the greatest emperors and rulers. The Great Pyramid of Cheops, inspired by his father's struggles, and King Snefru, founder of the 4th dynasty, are also visited. The high plateau offers a stunning view of the three pyramids, including those of Chephren, the son of Cheops who succeeded King Djedefre.
After riding a camel on the plateau, visitors can see the Great Sphinx at Giza, a figure of a man with a lion's body, believed to be constructed for King Chephren. The Valley Temple, where the king was mummified before being interred, is also visited.
After your 2-hour tour, continue your adventure in Cairo by visiting the Egyptian Museum, which houses the world's biggest collection of Egyptian artifacts.
After lunch, you'll be transported to the Islamic Khan El Khalili neighborhood for one of Cairo's greatest walking tours and a close-up look at the residents. After your Cairo City Tour, you will be taken back to your hotel for the evening.
