Your licensed Egyptologist will provide you with information about these ancient structures and their purpose, and you can also opt for a camel ride around the pyramids.
The next stop on your tour will be the Sphinx, a fascinating statue with the head of a man and the body of a lion, symbolizing strength and wisdom. You will also visit the Valley Temple, which was used for the purification of the mummy of the king before burial.
After exploring the Giza Plateau, you will head to the Egyptian Museum to see the artifacts and gold treasures of the boy pharaoh, Tutankhamun. The museum is one of the largest and most famous international museums, located in the heart of Cairo.
Next, you will embark on an informative tour of Coptic Cairo, beginning with the Roman fortress of Babylon and the Hanging Church, which is an ancient church dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
