After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, check out and proceed to Cairo airport for your domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, our team will be there to greet you and transfer you to your hotel for some rest, if possible. If not, we will begin our tour of Luxor's west bank immediately.
We'll start with the famous Valley of the Kings was the burial site of the Eighteenth, Nineteenth, and Twentieth Dynasties of Egypt's New Kingdom, located across the river from Thebes (modern Luxor). Next, we'll visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also called the temple of Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon, the remaining structures from King Amenophis III's mortuary temple, which face the Nile.
After lunch in Luxor, we'll tour the East Bank, visiting the Karnak Temple Complex and the Avenue of the Sphinxes. We'll see the Unfinished Pylon of King Nectanebo and the hypostyle hall with 134 columns. Our guide will lead us to the largest standing obelisk in Egypt, built by Queen Hatshepsut. We'll also visit the temple of Amon, adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, and admire the Granite Scarab of Amenophis III.
To conclude our day, we'll take a short car ride to the magnificent Luxor Temple, a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture. This site holds great historical significance and is a sight to behold.
