You will visit the Great Pyramid and Sphinx in Giza. The Giza Necropolis covers a sizable portion of the Giza Plateau, which is situated 25 kilometers south of Cairo, the capital of Egypt. The Sphinx, behind which the three most well-known pyramids—the pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Khufu (or Great Pyramid), the northernmost of the seven wonders of the ancient world and still standing today, and the pyramid of Khafre—as well as the pyramid of Menkaure, which is located further south.
In addition, you will be able to see the Valley Temple. The Mortuary Temple and the Valley Temple are both constructed of megalithic blocks and covered in red granite. The floor of the T-shaped hallway was paved with alabaster, and the square pillars supporting it were made of solid granite that is remarkably well preserved.
You will visit Memphis City, the first capital of the united kingdom of Upper and Lower Egypt, was established around 3100 BCE. Despite being abandoned in the seventh century CE, it is still a significant archaeological site today.
