After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your lodging to visit the architectural marvel known as the Valley of the Kings, which served as a place of burial, and is home to numerous kings' graves. The tombs of King Tutmosis I, King Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramses VI, King Mrenptah, and Amenhotep II are the most well-known.
then proceed to observe The only female pharaoh to rule ancient Egypt, Queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of Thutmosis I, constructed the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as El Dir El Bahari. She ruled Egypt for nearly 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (roughly 1490–1469 B.C.), during which time the temple was constructed.
Our next stop will be the Colossi of Memnon, which are the remains of Amenhotep III's funerary temple.
