When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, a representative from Cairo Top Tours will be present to assist you with going through passport control, identifying your luggage, and carrying it for you.

Your Cairo day tours can begin either from the airport or from your hotel. If you choose to start from your hotel, you can leave your luggage there before heading out on a tour of the Giza Pyramids a group of ancient pyramids located on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt. and the impressive The Great Sphinx of Giza is a large limestone statue located at the Giza plateau near Cairo, Egypt.

On your tour, the guide will give you a detailed explanation of the pyramids, including their construction methods during ancient times as hypothesized by scientists. Additionally, the guide will be able to answer any questions you may have about the famous Pharaohs of ancient Egypt such as Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus.

You will also be transferred to visit the Pyramids of Saqqara.

To start your sightseeing, you can visit the renowned Step Pyramid an ancient pyramid located in Saqqara, Egypt, about 30 kilometers south of Cairo. of King Djoser Pyramid, which was designed by the ingenious architect Imhotep. Imhotep transformed the technique of pyramid construction. The Step Pyramid served a greater purpose than just being a burial site; it was believed to aid in the transition to the afterlife and rebirth.

After enjoying your delicious lunch during the tour, you will proceed to visit the Dahshur Pyramids a group of ancient pyramids located near the village of Dahshur, approximately 40 kilometers south of Cairo, Egypt.

As part of your tour, you will get to see the Bent Pyramid, which boasts well-preserved exterior casing and offers a peaceful archaeological site where you can take breathtaking photos. Furthermore, your guide will take you inside the Red Pyramid of King Senefru, who is the father of King Cheops, known for constructing the renowned Great Pyramid in Giza. The Dahshur area is famous for its royal necropolis and various pyramids built for King Senefru, who is also the father of King Cheops.

Memphis is the final site to visit today.

The location where the King of ancient Egypt lived and where political and administrative activities took place for a millennium was also a significant hub for culture and worship for three millennia after the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt. During your visit, you'll be able to view one of two massive statues of Ramses II, while the other will be showcased at the new grand Egyptian museum alongside the magnificent Alabaster Sphinx. King Menes founded this city after merging Upper and Lower Egypt in 3100 B.C.

Your personal driver and tour guide will accompany you to your hotel and assist you with the check-in process in the late afternoon after the tour has concluded.

From there, you will embark on a tour to Alexandria, a city that was founded by Alexander the Great in 332 B.C. Alexander was a renowned leader of the ancient Greek Kingdom and established one of the largest empires in history. For nearly 1000 years, Alexandria served as the capital city of Egypt until the Arab conquest in the 7th century, and it remained the second most significant city after Cairo.

Upon arrival in Alexandria, your day tour will commence with a visit to the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa. Originally built as a private tomb for a wealthy family, it was later expanded to accommodate the common people of Alexandria. Afterward, we'll take a brief drive to see Pompey's Pillar, which is the tallest standing pillar in Egypt. The people of Alexandria constructed it as a gesture of gratitude to Roman Emperor Diocletian for diverting some of Egypt's annual tribute of corn and grain to help the citizens.

Next, you'll head to the seaside to take in views of the Mediterranean Sea before arriving at the Citadel of Qaitbay. The citadel was constructed in 1477 A.D. on the location where the renowned Pharos lighthouse once stood.

After the visit to the Citadel of Qaitbay, you'll enjoy a luxurious seafood lunch at a high-end restaurant in Alexandria. Then, you'll head to the Modern Bibliotheca of Alexandria, which consists of three buildings - the reading area, conference center, and planetarium. Along the way, you'll have the chance to explore the city's main squares, local markets, and landmarks such as the 'unknown soldiers' memorial and modern statues of politicians. Your personal tour guide and chauffeur will accompany you back to Cairo, with a stop midway for a coffee or tea break.

After having a tasty breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, your certified Egyptologist guide will accompany you to the Egyptian Museum. There, you can admire the intricate details of the world's most extensive collection of Egyptian antiquities, including the golden mask and coffins of King Tutankhamun.

Following your visit to the Egyptian Museum, you'll embark on an exciting tour of Islamic Cairo by starting with a visit to the Citadel of Saladin. The citadel houses the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, which was built in the 12th century by Mamluk rulers to protect Egypt from the Crusaders. Later, in 1830, King Mohammed Ali of the Ottoman Empire constructed his famous mosque within the fortress.

As part of your Egypt Classic Tours, you'll take a break for a delicious lunch before continuing your journey through Coptic Cairo. After lunch, you'll explore the remains of the ancient Roman fortress, Babylon, dating back to the 1st century. Above it, you'll find the Hanging Church, an extraordinary church suspended on towers. You'll then wander through narrow alleys reminiscent of old streets in Jerusalem until you reach the church of St. Sergius, blessed by the presence of the Holy family during their three-month stay in Old Cairo. The Coptic Cairo tour will conclude with a visit to the old Jewish area of Cairo to see the Ben Ezra Synagogue, once a Christian church before being sold to a Jewish man.

During our tour of Islamic Cairo, we'll take a leisurely walk down El Moez Ledin Ellah Street, the oldest street in Fatimid Cairo, known for its collection of Islamic art and architecture. We'll make a stop at the old Market and visit the Al Azhar mosque before taking a break at El Fishawy, the oldest cafe in Khan El Khalili. Here, you can savor Turkish coffee or a special mango juice.

We will take the car back to the hotel and stay the night in Cairo.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel and check out of your room. Wait for us in the lobby as we pick you up and take you to the Cairo airport for your domestic flight to Luxor to continue your Egypt tours. Upon arrival, we'll be waiting for you at the airport, and if possible, we'll take you to your hotel to rest. Otherwise, we'll immediately start our west bank of Luxor tour, beginning with the Valley of the Kings. This renowned site is home to the necropolis of the new kingdom pharaohs, and you'll have the opportunity to explore three incredible tombs in the Valley of the Kings. We'll then visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as the temple of Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon, the only remaining structures from the mortuary temple of King Amenophis III that face the Nile.

After a delectable lunch at a local restaurant in Luxor, we'll continue our East Bank of Luxor tour by visiting the awe-inspiring Complex of Karnak Temple in Luxor, a religious site that was constructed over a period of 2000 years by various ancient Egyptian rulers and kings. We'll begin our journey with a stroll along the Avenue of the Sphinxes, which flanks the passageway connecting the Karnak and Luxor temples. We'll see the Unfinished Pylon of King Nectanebo, the hypostyle hall with 134 massive columns, and the largest standing Obelisk in Egypt, built by Queen Hatshepsut in the domain of the sun god Amun Re. Our guide will provide an in-depth explanation of the temple of Amon, adorned with lotus and papyrus designs that represent Upper and Lower Egypt. We'll also view the Granite Scarab of Amenophis III and the sacred lake located at the center of the temple. Following this, we'll travel by car to the magnificent Luxor temple, a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture.

You have the opportunity to enjoy additional excursions in Luxor, including a visit to see the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple.

You'll check out of your hotel at 7:00 a.m. and travel by land from Luxor to Aswan, which will take approximately three hours. Upon arrival, we'll embark on a sightseeing tour of Aswan, beginning with a visit to The High Dam in Aswan, located 6.5 km south of the Aswan Dam. This dam played a significant role in the economic development of Egypt, as envisioned by the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser. Then, we'll board a boat that will take us to the Philae Temple, which houses monuments from four significant periods in Egypt's history, including the Pharaonic, Ptolemaic, Roman, and Christian eras. The Temple of Isis, Horus, Hathor, and the Kiosk are among the most remarkable monuments you'll see.

Once the Aswan day tours are completed, you will be treated to a delicious lunch in Aswan, followed by transportation to your hotel in Aswan to check-in.

After breakfast, your Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel to visit the Abu Simbel temples, also known as the temples of Ramses II. These impressive temples are carved out of rock and comprise two massive structures that were built during Ramses II's reign as a tribute to himself and his beloved wife. You'll return to Aswan around 1:00 pm, and then you'll be taken to Aswan airport to catch your flight back to Cairo.

Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Cairo Top Tours who will escort you to your hotel in Cairo for check-in and overnight stay.
