We'll start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cairo before meeting up with our representative to begin your Giza Pyramids tour. You'll visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu, built 4,500 years ago in the necropolis of Giza. You'll have plenty of time to explore the pyramids on your own or with your guide.
You'll also see the second Pyramid of King Chephren and the famous Sphinx. If you choose, you can take a camel ride to take amazing photos of the Sphinx (optional). You'll also visit the Valley Temple, an ancient temple located in front of the Sphinx, where the ritual known as the opening of the mouth was performed.
You'll then be transferred to the open-air museum in the ancient city of Memphis to explore the treasures and masterpieces that remain from the oldest capital city of the Egyptian empire. You'll also visit the Saqqara Necropolis, home to some of the most iconic ancient Egyptian monuments, including the Step Pyramid and eleven royal pyramids, as well as Mastaba tombs for high officials, aristocrats, and nobles.
Your Giza tour also includes access to the pyramid of Teti and the tomb of Kagemni, decorated with colorful scenes of daily life in ancient Egypt. After the tour, we'll take you back to your hotel for the night.
