Itinerary

On the first day of your Egypt travel package, you'll be greeted by a knowledgeable tour leader at the Cairo International Airport. We will transfer you in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo, where you'll stay for four days.

Upon arrival at the hotel, you'll be offered a welcome drink, and later on, you'll be served lunch.

On the second day of your tour package, you'll start the day with a tasty breakfast before heading to the Giza Pyramids. These pyramids are one of the most iconic landmarks in Egypt and were added to the list of the seven wonders of the world. You'll have the opportunity to marvel at the sheer size of these structures, with each side standing 231 meters tall and the entire structure weighing 6 million tons. It's fascinating to note that each brick in the pyramid weighs a whopping 2.5 tons! You'll see the Sphinx, which is a mythical guardian with a lion's body and the head of King Chephren.

After exploring the Pyramids of Giza, you'll enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant for lunch. Please, note that drinks are not included in the meal.

Next, you'll visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses an unparalleled collection of artifacts from ancient Egypt. Some of the museum's priceless artifacts are the Narmer Stela, which commemorates the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt under one king, and the funerary collections of Yuya and Thuya, Psusennes I, and the Treasures of Tanis. The museum also contains impressive statues of the ancient monarchs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, who constructed the pyramids on the Giza plateau. You'll also see the large collection of papyri, coffins, and ornaments.

After a full day of exploring, you'll be transferred back to your hotel to spend the night.

On the third day of your Egypt trip package, you'll be picked up from Cairo Pyramids Hotel in the early morning and driven to Bahariya Oasis, which is located around 360 kilometers to the east of Cairo. After a journey of approximately 4 hours, you'll stop for lunch at Bahariya Oasis before continuing to explore the Black Desert and El Haize (St. George Oasis). You'll then visit Crystal Mountain to see the quartz crystal and the Valley of Agabat and admire the geological formations.

The trip will continue until you reach the White Desert National Park, which is Egypt's most famous desert attraction. You'll be awed by the otherworldly and stunning wind-carved rock formations that resemble enormous mushrooms or stones, making it, unlike any other desert in the world. Depending on the possibility, you'll either camp in the white desert or spend the night at a hotel.

On the fourth day, you'll have breakfast at the campsite before heading to Bahariya Oasis. Here, you'll get to see the golden mummy display room, two noble tombs from the 26th dynasty that are part of a large burial complex, and the Tomb of Bannantiu. After this, you'll enjoy hiking the Black Mountain, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Then you'll have lunch at the Bahariya Oasis before traveling back to Cairo.

On the fifth day of your Egypt trip package, your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Giza or Cairo and take you to Fayoum, where you'll find the Fayoum Oasis.

Your first stop will be at the Kom Aushim Museum. The museum was built in 1974 and displays artifacts from the prehistoric to Roman eras, as well as the Fayoum Portrait. One of the largest Greco-Roman cities in Fayoum is Karanis, also known as The Lord's Town.

You'll have lunch on Qarun Lake, which is named after the king who was buried with all of his gold and riches in a wadi.

After lunch, you'll visit the Waterfall and Wadi El Rayan, which is a depression that extends 673 kilometers and is 42 meters below sea level. When this depression was connected to Qarun Lake by underground pipes in 1966, it was transformed into a water reservoir. You'll have the opportunity to explore the lake before taking a drive back to Cairo.

On the sixth day, a representative from Cairo Top Tours will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo at 7:00 a.m. to take you on a day trip to Alexandria. Your first stop will be at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, which is a significant library and cultural hub located on the Mediterranean coast. After exploring the library, you'll go to the Royal Jewelry Museum in Zizenia.

You'll then head to a nearby restaurant for lunch, after that, your tour guide will transfer you to your hotel in Alexandria.

On the seventh day of the Egypt trip package, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour by visiting Pompey's Pillar. This pillar was built in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century and was a part of the Serapis temple complex, which rivaled the Soma and the Caesarean in beauty.

Next, we will go to the Catacombs at Kom el Shoqafa, which is the largest Roman cemetery. The catacombs have three levels cut into the rock and are a fascinating glimpse into ancient burial practices.

After exploring the catacombs, you'll enjoy lunch at a neighborhood eatery in Alexandria before visiting the Qaitbay Citadel. This citadel was built on the site of a former pharaoh's lighthouse and allows you to see many stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Finally, you'll be transferred back to your hotel.

On the eighth day of the Egypt trip package, your professional tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Alexandria at 7:00 a.m. to take you on a trip to El-Alamein. This location is situated 240 kilometers northwest of Cairo and 106 kilometers west of Alexandria.

Your first stop on this sightseeing tour after arriving in El-Alamein will be the El Alamein Military Museum and the Commonwealth Cemetery, which houses the graves of troops from several countries who perished in the conflict. You'll have the opportunity to learn more about the Second World War and other relevant historical events from your knowledgeable tour guide. El-Alamein was one of the most significant locations throughout this conflict.

After exploring El-Alamein, you'll embark on a journey to your hotel in Marsa Matruh.

On the ninth day of the Egypt trip package, you'll meet your tour guide. You will be transferred to Siwa from Marsa Matrouh, which is located on Egypt's Mediterranean coast. Marsa Matrouh is famous for its white sand beaches and tranquil waters, and it's said that Cleopatra herself swam in these waters.

You'll spend the night at the Ghaliet Ecolodge & Spa at the Siwa Hotel and have the opportunity to take a bath in the Springs. This will be a great way to relax and unwind after several days of exploring Egypt's historical sites and landmarks.

On the tenth day of the Egypt trip package, you'll have a yummy breakfast at your hotel before being picked up at 7:00 a.m. Your first stop will be the Temple of the Oracle, which is also known as the Temple of the Great Alexander.

Next, you'll visit the salty lake, where you can float in the water without being a strong swimmer. Be careful during swimming and avoid getting the water in your eyes. Choose the clearest lake, where you can see the bottom.

Afterward, you'll head to the Spring of the Sun, which is also known as Cleopatra's Bath. According to mythology, Cleopatra swam here.

You'll take a break for lunch and enjoy some Siwanie cuisine at a local restaurant before returning to the Siwa Hotel to spend the night there.

On the eleventh day of the Egypt trip package, after breakfast at the hotel, you'll head to the Great Sand Sea for an adventure in the desert. You'll discover the desert via a Jeep 4x4 and even get to enjoy some sandboarding. The Great Sand Sea, which is located near Siwa Oasis has some of Egypt's best sand dunes for sandboarding.

Later, you'll visit Bir Waheed's hot and cold springs and enjoy some traditional Bedouin tea at dusk. You'll then assemble your camp and have dinner before spending the night in a hotel in Siwa.

On the twelfth day of the Egypt trip package, after breakfast at the hotel, you'll visit the Shali Fort, which is located on a hill inside a protective wall. The complex of mud-brick buildings has served the oasis residents for over eight centuries. The inhabitants had to share their animals, which were kept inside the stronghold each evening while they lived in cramped quarters.

Next, you'll travel to the Mountain of the Dead, which is located just over a kilometer north of Shali. There are four tombs at Gebel Al Mawta that you must see, dating back to the 26th Dynasty, Ptolemaic, and Roman periods. The most exquisite tomb is that of Si Amun, and they are all cut into the side of the mountain.

After exploring these fascinating historical sites, you'll head back to Cairo.

On the thirteenth day of the Egypt trip package, after breakfast, your tour guide will drive you to your accommodation in Alexandria. Your next stop will be the Alexandria National Museum, which is the oldest museum in the country and houses over 200,000 artifacts. The museum's collection represents all eras of Egyptian history, from the Old Kingdom to the Roman Empire.

After exploring the museum, you'll stop for lunch at a nearby restaurant before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

On the final day of the Egypt trip package, after having breakfast, you'll travel to the international airport in Cairo to catch your flight, marking the end of the tour and our services. We hope you had an amazing time exploring the fascinating history and culture of Egypt, and we wish you a safe and pleasant journey home.
