Start your Egypt Day Tour with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cairo. Your Egyptologist tour guide will accompany you to the Egyptian Museum, which houses the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world. You'll also get to see the Treasures of the Golden Tutankhamun, the only royal treasure found intact.
Next, your personal guide and driver will take you to the Citadel of Saladin, where you can admire the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque and enjoy a panoramic view of Islamic Cairo with its centuries-old mosques, minarets, and domes.
Your tour continues to Coptic Cairo, where you'll visit the Roman fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church, and the church of St. Sergius. You'll also get to see the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is believed to be the site where Moses' basket was picked up from the Nile.
After lunch, you'll head to Islamic Cairo to explore the walls, gates, and old streets of this medieval city dating back to the 10th century. The walk ends with tea at Fishawy, one of the famous and historic cafes located in Khan El Khalili, Cairo's old bazaar.
