After breakfast at your hotel, your private tour guide will take you to visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world. You'll also see the Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh Tutankhamun, the only royal treasure found intact.
Next, you'll visit Old Cairo, where you'll see Coptic and Islamic monuments together, creating a unique and peaceful view. You'll visit the Citadel of Saladin, including the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, and enjoy a panoramic view of Islamic Cairo, with its centuries-old mosques, minarets, and domes.
In Coptic Cairo, you'll visit the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church suspended above its ancient bastions, the Church of St Sergius, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, said to be the site of the pharaoh's palace where the basket of Moses was picked up from the Nile.
After lunch, you'll continue to explore Islamic Cairo, including its walls, gates, and old streets dating back to the 10th century. Finally, you'll spend your evening having tea at Fishawy, the oldest cafe in Khan El Khalili, Cairo's old bazaar.
You'll then return to your hotel in Cairo for the night.
