After enjoying breakfast in the morning, you'll head to the "Wadi Hitan," also known as the Valley of Whales. This site earned UNESCO World Heritage status in July 2005 due to its abundant fossils, some dating back 200 million years to a time when the desert was submerged underwater. Among the notable fossils are bones and skeletons of whales and sea cows, with several incomplete skeletons displayed in the park's open area.
Following this fascinating excursion, you'll travel a short distance south of Wadi El Rayyan Road to Mudawara Mountain for a visit. While not a true mountain, Mudawara Mountain boasts a striking layered appearance and captivating symmetry.
Next, you'll be driven to Karanis, an ancient ruin dating back to the Ptolemaic era, where you'll find Roman, Coptic, and Early Islamic monuments. Finally, we'll return you to your hotel in Cairo.
