Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, you will be greeted by our Cairo Top Tour representative who will accompany you to the Giza pyramids to kick off your tour.

The Giza Pyramids, one of the few remaining wonders of the ancient world, await you on the Giza Plateau where your journey begins. Before descending into the valley to behold the mighty Sphinx, standing proudly as the guardian of the Mortuary complex, you'll explore the pyramids and soak in panoramic vistas from the western plateau.

Next, we'll visit one of Egypt's renowned government papyrus institutes located near the pyramids. Here, you'll have the opportunity to choose from a diverse selection of hand-painted papyrus sheets and witness a demonstration of the ancient paper-making process.

Enjoy an enriching Cairo orientation tour, encompassing the captivating sights of Old Cairo and the labyrinthine maze of alleys and stalls in the historic city center.

Among the notable Cairo landmarks, explore Old and Coptic Cairo, where you can marvel at the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of St. Barbara, and the Church of Abu Serga – all significant historical sites offering insight into ancient Egyptian culture.

Indulge in a lunch break at a restaurant in Old Cairo, allowing ample time to explore this intriguing part of the city.

Khan el-Khalili, an ancient marketplace in Cairo steeped in over 1400 years of history, awaits your exploration. Navigate through its labyrinthine lanes teeming with treasures and curiosities – the perfect destination for unique finds.

Afterward, you'll be chauffeured back to your hotel to unwind for the night.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, your tour leader will meet you and assist with check-out before transferring you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, you'll be transferred to your hotel to relax before the day's adventures begin.

Later, we'll pick you up from your Luxor hotel and head to the Luxor Museum, the second-most visited museum in Egypt after the Cairo Egyptian Museum. This museum boasts a vast collection of artifacts excavated from various historically significant sites in the region. Highlights include jewelry, pottery, sculptures, and stone tablets from the Luxor and Karnak temples, as well as Tutankhamun's personal items and the statue of Thutmose III. It's a remarkable opportunity to witness some of Egypt's most significant pieces of art.

Our next destination is the Mummification Museum, overseen by the deity Anubis. Here, you'll delve into the fascinating process of mummification, learning about the 70-day ritual and the origins of the tools used. The museum also sheds light on the social status of those involved in mummification. Established in 1997, it offers an insightful journey into ancient Egyptian practices.

After this enriching exploration of history, we'll transport you back to your hotel in Luxor.

Your day will commence with breakfast at your hotel before our tour leader accompanies you to embark on a journey to the West Bank of Luxor. Your first destination will be The Valley of the Kings, the renowned Necropolis of Thebes. Nestled on the West Bank of Luxor, this historic necropolis is a must-visit for all travelers to Luxor. Concealed beneath Thebes Mountain, it houses a collection of tombs spanning different dynasties. Your Egyptologist tour guide will recommend which tombs to explore among the many available. Following your visit to the tombs, you'll proceed to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Next on the itinerary are the Colossi of Memnon, two colossal ancient sculptures that stand as impressive remnants of ancient Egyptian grandeur.

Afterward, we'll head to a nearby restaurant for lunch before returning you to your accommodation.

After breakfast today, we'll begin our journey to Kom Ombo and Edfu. Our first stop will be Kom Ombo, where you'll have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. Following this visit, we'll continue our journey to Edfu. In Edfu, you'll explore the Temple of Horus, dedicated to the falcon-headed deity Horus. This relatively recent pharaonic temple is remarkably well-preserved and promises to impress with its grandeur.

In the evening, we'll transfer you to your hotel in Aswan, where you can check in and spend the night.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, our tour guide will accompany you to explore the attractions of Aswan.

The  Aswan High Dam, constructed in the 1960s, stands as an impressive embankment dam spanning the Nile River. Often referred to simply as the Aswan Dam, it holds significant importance compared to the older Aswan Low Dam, which was first built downstream in 1902.

Following the success of the Low Dam in harnessing the Nile's potential, the government prioritized the construction of the High Dam after the Egyptian Revolution of 1952. It was envisioned to support Egypt's industrialization by providing hydroelectricity, enhancing agricultural water storage, and improving flood management. Like its predecessor, the High Dam has profoundly influenced Egypt's economy and culture.

After exploring Aswan's attractions, we'll have lunch at a nearby eatery before proceeding to Abu Simbel in an air-conditioned minibus. Renowned for their remarkable construction, the two temples of Abu Simbel stand as prime examples of ancient Egyptian architecture, showcasing the grandeur of the New Kingdom era. Recognizing their significance, UNESCO and the Egyptian government collaborated to safeguard these temples from flooding.

The main temple, dedicated to Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and Ramesses II, is alternatively known as the Sun Temple of Ramses II due to its massive size and solar alignment.

Additionally, The Temple of Queen Nefertari, also referred to as the Temple of Hathor, symbolizes the union of Ramesses II, Hathor, and the Sun God. Spend approximately three hours exploring these awe-inspiring temples before returning to your accommodation in Aswan for the night.

After breakfast and check-out, our tour guide will escort you to visit The Philae Temple, one of Egypt's most stunning temple complexes. Located immediately south of the former Aswan Dam, reaching the ruins requires a water taxi ride to the island of Aglika. The temple was relocated to its current position to prevent it from being submerged forever by the construction of the High Dam. During the meticulous reconstruction of the complex in its new location, the original plan and design were faithfully preserved, including landscaping the island to resemble its former setting. Philae flourished as the center of worship for the goddess Isis during the Ptolemaic Dynasty.

Upon completion of your visit, you'll be dropped off at Aswan airport to catch your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you'll be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Today marks the beginning of your  Bahariya Oasis Tour, as your tour leader will pick you up from Cairo. Your adventure continues with visits to the renowned Mummies Hall, The Golden Mummies, and the temple of Ain El Muftella. Following a stroll through the ancient hamlet, you'll journey to the Black Mountains and make a stop at the salt lake, all accompanied by an English-speaking tour guide. After lunch, you'll be driven back to your Cairo hotel for the evening.

After indulging in a delicious breakfast, our representative will pick you up to explore Alexandria's significant Greco-Roman ruins, delving into the city's ancient past.

Your journey begins with a visit to the Serapeum, a temple housing Pompey's Pillar, a striking red granite column. From there, you'll descend into the eerie Kom el Shoqafa Catacombs. Don't miss the nearby mosaics and the meticulously reconstructed Roman amphitheater.

Next, head to the waterfront to savor a feast of Mediterranean seafood.

Continue your exploration by visiting the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century maritime fort built on the site of the former Lighthouse of Alexandria.

Immerse yourself in the ancient world at the National Museum of Alexandria, particularly its underwater archaeological exhibits.

Embark on a culinary journey through Egyptian cuisine, drawing inspiration from Ottoman and Arab traditions. Sample street dishes such as koshary, a spicy blend of lentils, noodles, and sour tomato sauce, along with kebabs, mixed grills, meze dips, and seafood. Conclude with refreshing ice cream and delightful desserts.

Finally, our representative will escort you to your hotel in Alexandria, where you can check in and spend the night.

In the morning, our tour leader will pick you up after you've checked out of your hotel.

Begin your day by visiting the magnificent new Alexandrian Library, which has taken the place of the ancient Great Library of Alexandria as the center of learning.

Next, explore two of Alexandria's most renowned mosques, The Nabi Daniel Mosque and the Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque.

Afterward, enjoy a leisurely bike ride down the corniche until you reach the Stanley Bridge and Montazah Palace Gardens.

In the evening, we'll head back to Cairo, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel to spend the night.

Eventually you will w back by air-conditional car to Cairo airport for your last departure flight and after finishing your breakfast at the hotel.
