Eat your filling breakfast in the elegant dining room of the Egypt Nile River Cruise. You will be driven to the beginning of our Luxor day tours to the west bank by your tour guide. When you visit the rock-carved tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings, one of the mandatory stops on any tour to Egypt, you can learn about mummification in ancient Egypt. Today, we will disembark the boat to visit two of Egypt's most well-known attractions. Thutmose III, Ramses IX, Siptah, and Ramses IV are among our favorite tombs if we had to pick just one.
The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, also known as El-Dier El Bahari, is dedicated to the sun God Amun Re. We will travel there on a mini train to see the temple, which was carved into the steep limestone cliffs that rise above the desert in the Deir el-Bahari valley.
After this unforgettable excursion in Luxor, you will be transferred back to the cruise, and you will eat lunch as the Movenpick Royal Lily Nile cruise ship makes its way to Esna to cross the Lock. On the upper deck of the cruise ship, enjoy tea while admiring the breathtaking scenery of the lovely Nile Valley.
Upon arrival in The Temple of Edfu where you will spend the night, your oriental dinner will be served on board. You can then participate in belly dancing and musical performances on the serene Nile waters.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided as part of the package.
