You will also enter one of the pyramids within the site, the pyramid of King Teti from the 6th dynasty, and visit one of the tombs of the nobles built for the king's son in law, the tomb of Kagemni who was the son-in-law of King Teti and the vizier of justice during the king's reign.
Resume your tours in Cairo by transferring to the site where the first capital of Egypt was, the ancient city of Memphis, now identified as Mit Rahina and you will see the open-air museum with the alabaster sphinx and the enormous statue of King Ramses II whose mummy was discovered in 1981, he ruled Egypt during the new kingdom.
You will have a delicious lunch in a good quality restaurant viewing the pyramids and the Sphinx before being transferred back to the hotel.
