A luxurious tour through Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan

On your second day, you'll start with a delicious breakfast at the hotel's main restaurant and a captivating journey through Cairo's historical sites. The first stop is the Pyramids of Giza. The enigmatic Sphinx, guardian of the Necropolis for over four and a half millennia, is also a must-see. The Valley Temple of King Chephren, dedicated to mummification, is crafted with exquisite Aswan granite and white alabaster. The Grand Egyptian Museum, home to the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian artifacts, is a must-see.

Next, you'll explore the rich heritage of Coptic Cairo, including the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon and the Hanging Church, The Church of St. Sergius, also known as the Church of the Cave or the Church of the Holy Family, is built over the crypt where the Holy Family sought refuge. The Ben Ezra Synagogue believed to be the site where Moses' basket was retrieved from the Nile, is also a must-see.

Finally, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch before heading to the vibrant area of Islamic Cairo, where you'll witness the impressive walls and gates of the medieval city founded by Fatimid leader Badr Al Gamali. Enjoy a refreshing cup of mint tea at Al-Fishawy, one of the oldest coffee shops in the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

After taking a flight to Luxor, you will be welcomed and taken to your opulent Egypt Nile cruise tour ship. Enjoy a mouthwatering meal on board as you settle into your luxurious cabin. Explore Luxor's East Bank in the afternoon and pay a visit to the magnificent Karnak Temple, the world's largest religious complex. Proceed to the beautiful Luxor Temple, which is a breathtaking example of ancient Egyptian architectural design.

Have a buffet breakfast back on your Nile cruise ship, and your guide will take you to Luxor’s west bank for a visit to the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III, which are famous as the Colossi of Memnon, as well as the fame of Tutankhamun and the Great Ramses the Second. The pyramids are dug into the mountain, strikingly ornamented with excellent paintings, and contain property that the pharaohs intended to use in their next lives after they were resurrected. Your Luxor day tours will proceed to the Temple of Hatshepsut, commonly referred to as El Deir El Bahari, and this female Pharaoh was the first ruler of Egypt. 
 
Lunch will be followed by a comfortable boat ride to Edfu.

Visit the impressively preserved Ptolemaic temple of Edfu, which was dedicated to the god Horus, following another oriental breakfast in the main restaurant of the Nile Cruise. Set sail for Kom Ombo to see the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo, celebrating the god Sobek, the crocodile. Enjoy lunch on board, set sail for Aswan before dinner, and enjoy the evening on your opulent Nile cruise.

Arrive in Aswan, a city known for its natural beauty and historical monuments. Visit the magnificent Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and explore the vibrant Aswan day tour Souk, brimming with local crafts and spices.

After breakfast, get off from the Steigenberger MS Minerva Nile cruise with the ship's crew or similar, and head to the airport in Aswan to catch your aircraft back to Cairo. After being received and greeted by our staff upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be taken to your hotel, where you can continue your free time for the remainder of the day.
