Then we'll discover about Tyre, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited towns, albeit by a small population for centuries during the Middle Ages. The city features several historic antiquities, notably the Tyre Hippodrome, and was included to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984.
Finally, head to Maghdouché, a picturesque town in Lebanon's south governorate, is well-known for its tourist attraction, the Lady of Awaiting or Mantara, which has an 8-meter bronze figure of the Virgin Mary, who is said to have waited for Jesus while he preached in Sidon.
