After enjoying a delightful breakfast, you’ll embark on a thrilling Desert Safari adventure in Siwa Oasis. Your first stop is the ancient town of Shali, once a bustling settlement and now a fascinating desert relic. Despite its partial decay, the town’s historical significance has led to ongoing reconstruction efforts. From here, you will proceed to visit the Temple of the Oracle, also known as Alexander the Great's Temple, located in the ancient village of Aghurmi. This temple dates back to the 26th Dynasty and played a significant role in ancient Egyptian history.
Your journey continues with a visit to the Temple of Amun Ra at Um Ubeyda, a sacred site dedicated to the triad of gods, including Amun. Following that, you’ll step into the Siwa House Museum, which offers an insightful glimpse into the rich culture and customs of the Bedouin people of Siwa. For lunch, you’ll dine at one of the most scenic spots in the oasis, either within the historic Shali Fortress or at the charming Adbo Restaurant.
Later in the day, you’ll head to Cleopatra’s Spring, also known as Ein Guba, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of this natural spring, a popular and rejuvenating experience for travelers.
On Day Four, begin your morning with a peaceful visit to Nars Island, and conclude the day with a mesmerizing sunset at Fitnas Island, a perfect way to reflect on the day’s unforgettable adventures in the serene surroundings of Siwa.
