As the sun rises over the empty desert you start your day with a delightful Bedouin-style breakfast including tea, facing a beautiful horizon you wouldn’t dare to disturb. The first activity of interest is a dip into the hot springs, which not only help wash away physical and mental fatigue but also provide a real sense of being at an oasis.
From here go to the extraordinary White Desert of Egypt, which is famous for the mushroom-shaped limestone formations and ‘rabbit’ shaped rocks sculptured by the desert winds for centuries. There are numerous places around such a landscape to take beautiful and interesting photos and just enjoy the works of nature.
Before returning to Cairo, the route will take you through Bahariya Oasis – a green desert oasis that looks like a green island in the middle of the desert. On the way, it is suggested to visit the Black Desert, where the ground is covered with dark volcanic stones, which is where the region’s name comes from. You will also get to see other attractions such as the salt lake and the dunes’ besides the narration being done by a Bedouin guide who gives information on the land and its features.
