Fantastic 5-Days Nile Cruise Tour from Luxor

After enjoying a delicious breakfast aboard the MS Royal Viking Nile Cruise, you will meet your tour leader to begin your West Bank tour of Luxor. Your first stop will be the remarkable rock-cut tombs of the New Kingdom pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings. These tombs were built far from tomb thieves, and over 60 have been discovered to date.

Next, you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, now known as the Temple of El Deir El Bahari. After two days of sightseeing in Luxor, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast aboard the Nile Cruise. Then, accompanied by your expert tour guide, you will embark on an exciting Egypt day tour to Edfu. Here, you will visit the Temple of Horus, one of the largest and best-preserved temples in Egypt.

Following your visit, you will return to the cruise ship for a scenic sail southwards to Kom Ombo, where a unique lunch will be served on board. Upon arriving in Kom Ombo, you will visit the impressive Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. This temple was built between 1350 and 180 B.C. under the orders of King Ramses II.

After your tours of Edfu and Kom Ombo, the cruise will continue towards Aswan. Enjoy a delightful dinner on board, along with entertainment and local music. You will spend the night in the beautiful city of Aswan.

Explore the granite quarries where ancient Egyptians cut and transported granite for constructing the great pyramids during the Old Kingdom and the grand temples, pillars, and obelisks of the New Kingdom.

Philae Temple:

Continue your Aswan tour with a visit to the Greco-Roman Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. This temple is one of the key sites associated with the legend of Isis, Osiris, and Horus.

After the tour, return to the cruise for lunch. Enjoy a free afternoon in Aswan, followed by a quality dinner on board. In the evening, watch an entertaining Nubian show before spending the night in Aswan.

Once you have finished your final breakfast on the tour and checked out of the Luxor Aswan Nile cruise boat, we will transport you to the Aswan train station or Aswan airport, depending on where you have requested to be dropped off.
