The final day of the journey begins with a satisfying breakfast on board the cruise before check-out. The participants then embark on a comprehensive Luxor day tour led by an expert guide, encompassing both the East and West Banks.
The exploration commences at the Karnak Temples, constructed over centuries by various pharaohs between 2200 and 360 B.C. Following this, the group visits the Luxor Temple, constructed between 1400 and 1000 B.C. during the powers of Pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II.
Proceeding to the West Bank, the participants visit the Valley of the Kings, recognized for its numerous royal tombs. Originally known as "Ta Iset Maat," meaning "place of truth," this site holds immense historical significance. The group also discovers the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural marvel by Senenmut dedicated to the pharaoh Hatshepsut, Egypt's most prominent female ruler. Additionally, they observe the Colossi of Memnon. Upon concluding the tour, the participants are transferred to their preferred location in Luxor.
In the early morning, the participants have the option to join an excursion for a hot air balloon ride over Luxor, providing a unique and breathtaking perspective of the region's ancient wonders.
The meals included for the day are breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring a well-rounded culinary experience as the participants conclude their immersive Nile River Cruise journey.
