On the final day of the tour, the day begins with a satisfying breakfast aboard the cruise ship before checking out. Thereafter, the participants will embark on a comprehensive Luxor day tour led by a professional guide, covering both the East and West Banks of the Nile River. The exploration commences at the Karnak Temples, a complex of ancient Egyptian temples constructed over centuries by various pharaohs from 2200 to 360 B.C. Following this, the group will visit the Luxor Temple, a significant holy site built between 1400 and 1000 B.C. under the rules of Pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II.
The tour then continues on the West Bank, where the group will explore the Valley of the Kings, a recognized site for its numerous royal tombs. Anciently named "Ta Iset Maat," translating to "place of truth," this site holds enormous historical significance. The participants will also visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural marvel dedicated to the pharaoh Hatshepsut, the only woman to rule Egypt extensively. Additionally, the group will view the Colossi of Memnon, a pair of massive stone statues defining Pharaoh Amenhotep III. After completing the comprehensive tour, the participants will be transferred to their desired location in Luxor.
As an optional activity, the participants may choose to join an early morning excursion for a hot air balloon ride over Luxor, providing a unique and breathtaking perspective of the ancient city and its surroundings.
