Once you are preferably booked for a NEW Cairo hotel the process starts with a very early morning drive to Bahariya Oasis. After arriving comfortable car on an air- air-conditioning you will be met by our local Bedouin guide who will take you through the attractive and green area of the oasis.
Your first destination will be the famous Valley of the Golden Mummies which will show you even ten unique royal mummies being buried. Thirdly, proceed to the Tombs of the Nobles which are unique social structures and wealth of rulers of the oasis. The most famous is the Zed-Amun-Ef-Ankh burial chamber and chamber of Bannentiu in which the tomb was enlarged to accept group burial since tombs for single graves were not practical in that period.
Move on to the Temple of Alexander, constructed in honor of Alexander the Great when he rested in Bahariya on his way to the Siwa Oasis. The tour ends up at the Temple of Ain El-Mefetla; it belongs to the 26th Dynastic period. New archeological digging in the 1990s revealed four more chapels further extending the history of this historical church.
