Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast on board while sailing to Qasr Ibrim, one of the most monument-rich sites and the entirety of Egyptian history. Once a Nubian fortress, Qasr Ibrim was home to the tombs of Nubian kings and queens from the era of Pharaoh Thutmose III. It is closed to external visits at present but still has great cultural and spiritual importance, which can be appreciated aboard. Such is the placement of the site: on the shores of the Nile, for trade and military defense against invaders in antiquity. The ruins provide interesting information about the culture and polity of the Nubian people with its fortress-tombs.

First, there is the iconic Abu Simbel, a vast temple complex commissioned by the great Pharaoh Ramses II.
