After breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide and begin your guided tour of Rabat, a city with a long and impressive history, built in the Almohad era.
We begin with a tour of the Royal Palace of Rabat; with its majestic architecture, it is of significant official and ceremonial value. Next, we visit the pretty Kasbah of the Udayas, a charming area of blue-and-white alleyways that overlooks the River Bou Regreg, offering amazing views over it.
Spend some free time wandering around the ancient medina, browsing the local souks in the hunt for traditional goods such as leatherware, Moroccan jewellery, and souvenirs.
Take a break at the famous Café Maure, which sits along the river, to sample some Moroccan mint tea along with some tasty, traditional pastries such as Kaab Ghazal.
We then travel to the wonderful blue city of Chefchaouen in the afternoon.
