Once you arrive at Muscat airport, you will be met and assisted by our Cairo Top Tours representative. Then you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Muscat.
Have breakfast at the hotel. Next, you will begin your half-day city tour of Muscat. The tour covers the Grand Mosque of Sultan Qaboos, an architectural masterpiece, and the Bait Al Zubair Museum, which showcases Omani heritage with a wide collection of antiques, traditional Omani jewelry, costumes, weapons, domestic utensils, and recreated urban and rural environments. The tour continues through old Muscat, surrounded by rugged mountains and flanked by the twin 16th-century forts of Jalali and Mirani, to the Al Alam Palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos. Stopping at Muttrah, the main port area, to explore an ancient and colorful souk. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Muscat.

In the morning, after breakfast, drive south to the 8,000 square kilometers of sand to experience the magic of a genuine desert at Wahiba sands - almost a sea of sand in perpetual motion. A walk through the sand dunes is a must. Enjoy a 4x4 ride through the dunes and ride a camel. Then visit a local Bedouin family in their home to get an up-close view of their lifestyle and share coffee and dates with the authentic Bedouin. A short drive from the desert is Wadi Bani Khalid... A lush valley. Enjoy a refreshing swim in its cool waters. Return to Muscat for an overnight stay.
