Depart from the hotel and start the tour in the morning in 4X4 vehicles for a full day of safari in Salalah Jebel. Driving through the picturesque village of Taqa, making a photo stop in the village to enjoy a panoramic view from the top of a cliff, known as the Taqah Plateau. Next, we head into the "evergreen Wadi Darbat" for a relaxing walk along the Wadi bed, surrounded by herds of camels, goats, and cattle. In the Khareef season (monsoon period), you can also witness a natural waterfall of almost 100 meters, which spreads its "tentacles" into numerous lakes and lush green vegetation.
Our next stop is one of the largest sinkholes in the world (211 m deep and 150 m in diameter), located at Tawi Altair. It is also known as the "Well of the Birds", which frequent this place throughout the year. Continue your journey into the Jebel Samhan mountain range until you reach an impressive plateau almost 1,700 m high. This place, commonly known as the "Grand Canyon" of Dhofar, offers a full view of the eastern coast on one side and the vast Qara mountain range on the other. The group will stay here for a sumptuous picnic lunch. After lunch, we will continue our journey from the plateau to the adjacent Qara Range and drive through the picturesque Jebali villages and landscapes, with numerous photo stops at interesting locations. We will return to the port in the afternoon.
