From Muscat, your guide will meet you at your hotel to start your day trip to Wadi Shab. Along the way, you will stop at Quriyat, a fishing village by the sea, and visit the Bimah Sinkhole for a swim in this beautiful and unusual rock formation formed when a subway cavern collapsed. Following Wadi Shab, you will make a photo stop at Wadi Tiwi, which is filled with centuries-old traditional Omani buildings.
Then visit the small fort that guards the entrance to the wadi. Inside the valley, you can admire the beautiful scenery that the freshwater springs have created there. Walk among banana and date palm plantations and admire the terraced fields that have sustained the people here for centuries. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. At the end of your exploration of Wadi Shab, you will start your return trip to Muscat. The excursion will take approximately 8 hours and you will be returned to your hotel in Muscat by mid-afternoon.
