Your breakfast will be served in the morning before our certified tour guide meets you to start your tour of the Great Pyramids and Saqqara.
The tour will start off with the pyramid of King Cheops, the greatest of all the pyramids that exist on the planet Earth, it was built by the hands of 100,000 workers as expected by archeologists and historians.
The huge pyramid of King Chephren was built almost 20 years after the Great Pyramids using millions of lime-stone blocks by the son and the heir of Cheops who belongs to the 4th dynasty Pharaohs, and the small pyramid of Mycerinus. And you will learn how the pyramids were constructed by ancient Egyptians.
Then, go down to see the Great Sphinx or Shepsep-Ankh which means the living image of the deity.
Stop after your Giza Necropolis tour to take a traditional Egyptian lunch in a local restaurant, then proceed to Saqqara plateau, where you are going to see the famous Step Pyramid, the Tombs of Nobles during the Old Kingdom, and enjoy the fantastic color of the daily life scenes inside. Finally, you will get the chance to enter the Pyramid of King Teti or the Pyramid of King Unas.
Your last destination on this day is Memphis City; the capital of Egypt during the pyramid's building age for almost one thousand years, and it is considered a very important cultural and also religious capital of the Egyptian empire throughout the three thousand years of ancient Egyptian history. You will visit the Museum of Memphis to see the treasures of the ancient city including the alabaster sphinx and the huge statue of King Ramses ll.
We will transfer you back to your hotel at the end of the day.
