Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, one of our representatives will greet you and take you on a private air-conditioned vehicle to your first ancient site of the tour. On the way to the hotel, you'll see historical landmarks such as Saladin Citadel, and our tour leader will provide you with information about it.
Your full-day excursion will begin at Giza Necropolis, where you'll get to explore the Great Sphinx of Giza and the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, three of the former Seven Wonders of the World that were built around 2620 BC. You'll also have the opportunity to capture breathtaking panoramic shots of the legendary Pyramids of Giza.
Following that, you will thoroughly enjoy discovering the Egyptian Museum, which is also referred to as the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities. The museum houses an extensive collection of over 120,000 artifacts that span from ancient art and jewelry to well-preserved mummies and other human remains. Notably, the museum is home to some of the world-renowned exhibits such as the treasures of King Tutankhamun.
Upon concluding the tour, you will return to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay. Furthermore, you have an (optional activity) to attend the Sound and Light Show and witness the Pyramids at night.
