After breakfast, your English-speaking tour guide will meet you at the hotel to begin your tour of the Giza Pyramids. You will also see the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of King Chephren.
You will be transferred to the Egyptian Museum, which houses the most extensive collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world. Also on display is the golden treasure found untouched in the Valley of the Kings and a group owned by King Tutankhamun.
You will then visit the Coptic Cairo tour where you will see the Roman fortress of Babylon and The Hanging Church raised above two towers of this Roman fortification. Next, you will visit the church of Abu Serga and the Synagogue of Ben Ezra.
Enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch at one of Cairo's most famous restaurants. After lunch, we'll visit Cairo's famous mosques—including the Fatimid Khan el-Khalili and the Mosque of Ibn Tulun—to get a feel for Islamic Cairo.
