And then, our representative will meet you to start your Giza pyramids tour, we will transfer you to visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops in Giza necropolis that was built 4500 years ago. See the second Pyramid of king Chephren who is the 2nd reigning son of Cheops, he built his pyramid in Giza slightly smaller than his father's in respect. as well as the famous Sphinx which is the largest among the sphinxes in Egypt. You will also see the third Pyramid of king Mycerinus of the 4th dynasty from above the high plateau, where you will have the availability to enjoy a camel ride in the Giza Pyramids (optional activity) to take amazing photos.
Transfer to see the Great Sphinx in Giza which stood as a guardian to the whole necropolis, it was carved from one stone 73 meters long in a figure of a lion with a man's head, smart like a human and as strong as the lion.
Your next stop is to visit the Valley Temple of King Chephren which is one of the oldest temples in Egypt and is located right in front of the Sphinx, the temple was principally built to perform the ritual known as the opening of the mouth for King Chephren so that his Mummy can eat, drink and talk properly in the afterlife.
You will be transferred for about 35 minutes drive to visit the open-air museum in the ancient city of Memphis to explore the treasures and masterpieces that remain from the oldest capital city of the Egyptian empire since the time of King Menes 5000 years ago after the unification of the two lands and starting the 1st dynasty of Egypt history. Memphis was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom and a very important city during the Middle Kingdom and the New Kingdom all the way to the Greco-Roman era of ancient Egypt history.
Transfer to Saqqara necropolis, one of the richest and oldest archeological sites in the world, and the home of 11 royal pyramids and many Mastaba tombs for the high officials, aristocrats, and nobles as well as the relatives of the Pharaohs of ancient Egypt. You will see the Step Pyramid, which is the oldest pyramid built by the famous architect Imhotep to King Djoser and it is considered the first stone building in the world.
The tour includes the entrance to the pyramid of King Teti which is inscribed from the inside with hieroglyphs and Cartouches of the kings, the Cartouches are oval or elongated confining a group of Egyptian hieroglyphs (symbols), typically representing the name and title of a king. We will also take you to visit one of the tombs of the nobles built in the form of the Mastaba tomb and decorated with colorful scenes of daily life in ancient Egypt.
Now you can rest and enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant in the village of Saqqara then we will move back to the hotel after finishing your exciting tours in Giza.
