You will have the possibility to enter inside the pyramid with an extra ticket which is not covered by the tour price, then move to the second Pyramid which was built for King Chephren, the second official son of his father Cheops, Chephren built his pyramid somewhat smaller than his father's great pyramid in respect for the majesty and authority of his father and king. Then you will see the smallest pyramid in Giza built for king Mycerinus of the 4th dynasty, you will see how vast is the Sphinx which was carved from one big rock to imitate the face of King Chephren himself with a body of a lion, as a traditional symbolization for both power and intelligence.
Proceed with your tour of the Giza Pyramids by visiting the Valley Temple facing the statue of the sphinx, the temple is principally built to perform the mummification of king Chephren as part of the funeral rituals that help the king through his afterlife.
