Itinerary

You will be picked up in the morning from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by our Cairo Top Tours leader in an air-conditioned private car to transfer you to The Necropolis of Giza, then we will proceed to The Egyptian Museum before stopping for the lunch break at a near local restaurant. And at the second part of the day, we will visit Old Cairo to discover the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, and Church of Abu Serga, one of the first Coptic churches in Cairo, among other notable Cairo landmarks.

And finally, at the end of your day, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

We will be waiting for you in the morning at the lobby of your hotel in Cairo to drive you to the White desert, the most well-known desert site in Egypt, in the Bahariya Oasis, 330 km away to the southwest of Cairo.

Then, at the end of the day, we will make our way back to your hotel in Cairo.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to head directly to Alexandria. We will start our day tour at The Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, where we will get to discover some objects that initiate in the years 117 and 138 A.D. Then, we'll move to Pompey Pillar which was used for centuries as a favored campsite by Crows and other Native peoples as they traveled through the area on hunting, trading, war, or other expeditions.

And at the second part of the day we will visit The Citadel of Sultan Qeitbay, one of the most important defensive strongholds, not only in Egypt but also along the Mediterranean Sea coast. To then transfer to the Library of Alexandria before we head back to your accommodation in Cairo.

The fourth day will be unfortunately your last day in Egypt. We will pick you up for the last time from your hotel in Cairo to transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your last departure!

The White Desert is situated 500 kilometers southwest of Cairo in the Western Desert of Egypt, in the Farafra Depression. It is a part of the wider Western Desert region, which is renowned for its unusual geological formations and wide stretches of desert.

Cretaceous-era strata of chalk and limestone rocks, which arose between 145 and 66 million years ago, are what give the White Desert its unique topography. Originally deposited by ancient oceans, the layers of chalk and limestone were exposed to the weather over time and eventually lifted.

Long ago, there was a place called Rhakotis in Egypt near the sea. Alexander the Great later built a city called Alexandria in the same area. We don't know much about Rhakotis because it is hidden under the modern city.
