After having your 1st breakfast in Egypt at the hotel, you will meet your certified Egyptologist to start your Giza Pyramids tour, when you arrive at the Giza Necropolis, you will stand very close to one of the 7 wonders of the world and the only in existence fully preserved. Your tour guide will explain in detail the history of Egypt and how the idea of building enormous buildings called the Greeks (pyramids) first started.
Transfer by your exclusive vehicle to the Giza plateau to get a full view of the three pyramids for the kings of Egypt during the 4th dynasty of the old kingdom, Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. Ask your guide if you would like to have an unforgettable camel ride in Giza Pyramids (optional activity) and he will book it for you the moment you enjoy the great atmosphere of a 4500-year-old plateau.
Now we will enter the Valley Temple of Chephren that was built to get the king's body mummified to be preserved for resurrection, from the temple, there's a passageway leading to the Great Sphinx, the statue which was cut from a single bedrock of the plateau to symbolize wisdom and strength of the Egyptian pharaoh.
After finishing our fabulous tour to Giza Pyramids, you will be transferred to Cairo downtown, specifically the famous Tahrir Square where you will have an interesting Egyptian Museum tour to see the most ancient collection of Egyptian antiquities displayed inside and outside the 2 floors of the Egyptian Museum. The golden collection of King Tutankhamun will catch your interest, especially the pure gold funeral mask and coffins of the semi-god king according to the ancient Egyptian religion.
Enjoy a local food lunch meal at one of the good quality restaurants before being transferred to the heart of Medieval Cairo, the old market known as Khan El-Khalili Bazaar where you will enjoy Cairo shopping tours and see the Islamic monuments that date back to the 8th century A.D.
Get back to your hotel to stay overnight after finishing the Cairo trips.
