Welcome to Egypt! Our Cairo Top Tours representative will be waiting for you at Luxor Airport or train station with a sign with your name on it, ready to start your Egypt Day Tours. First, you'll embark on your Nile Carnival Cruise, and then take a private air-conditioned vehicle to visit the two huge temples on the eastern bank of the Nile - the Luxor Temple and the Karnak Temple. Both of these temples are essential examples of ancient Egyptian architecture and history, and visiting them is a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience as they are connected by the Avenue of the Sphinxes, a two-mile-long processional way lined with over a thousand sphinxes.

We'll begin the tour by meeting at the entrance of Luxor temple. Luxor temple is one of the most famous temples in all of Egypt. It was built over 3,000 years ago and is a truly remarkable sight. Once we're inside the temple, we'll take a look around at all of the different chambers and halls. Our tour guide will be pointing out some of the most interesting features and telling you a bit about the history of the temple.

After we've had a chance to explore Luxor temple, we'll head over to the Karnak Temple Complex. Karnak temple is even bigger and more impressive than Luxor temple. It's one of the largest temples in the world and is full of incredible artwork and architecture.

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

On the second day of your Egypt Nile River Cruise onboard MS Nile Carnival, you will take Luxor west bank tour to visit some of the most famous ancient Egyptian sites.

First, we will visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs were buried in grand tombs. The valley is home to more than 60 tombs, including the tomb of King Tutankhamun, one of the most well-known pharaohs in history. You'll learn all about the history of the valley and the tombs that are located here from our tour Guide.

Next, we will see the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an impressive monument of the ancient world, built by one of the most successful female rulers in ancient Egypt,  the Pharaoh Hatshepsut, who ruled Egypt for more than 20 years.

In the afternoon, we'll visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that have stood for thousands of years, built in honor of the pharaoh Amenhotep III, who ruled Egypt during the height of its power. These statues are truly awe-inspiring, and it's an incredible opportunity to see them up close.

This tour is a great way to learn more about the history and culture of Egypt.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Welcome to the third day of your Nile Carnival cruise tour! Today, we're making our way from Aswan to Edfu and Kom Ombo!

First, we'll cruise to Edfu, where we'll visit the Temple of Horus, an impressive sight, with its massive columns and intricate carvings. The temple is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, and it's dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. Take some time to explore the temple, and learn about its history and mythology. We'll also get to see the famous Edfu papyri, which are some of the oldest surviving examples of Egyptian hieroglyphics.

Then, we'll cruise to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple of Sobek. The temple is dedicated to two gods, Horus and the crocodile god Sobek, and it's a unique double temple with separate entrances for the gods and the goddesses. It is an interesting place to explore, with its many chambers and courtyards. Be sure to take a look at the mummified crocodiles!

After your visits to the temples, enjoy a leisurely cruise down the Nile. Take in the stunning scenery, and relax on the deck of the ship.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today, we'll be exploring the beautiful city of Aswan. Aswan is Egypt's southernmost city and is a gateway to some of the country's most amazing sights. We have a full Aswan day of tours planned, including visits to the Aswan High Dam, the Temple of Philae, and the Unfinished Obelisk.

Start the day with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, one of the most impressive engineering feats of the 20th century. Built in the 1960s to protect Egypt from the devastating floods that used to occur along the Nile River. the dam provides vital flood control and hydroelectric power for the region. The dam also created Lake Nasser, the largest man-made lake in the world.

Next, we will visit the Temple of Philae, one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt. Dedicated to the goddess Isis and was a center of worship for over 1,000 years. The temple was relocated to its current location on an island in the Nile River when the Aswan High Dam was built.

Finally, we'll see the Unfinished Obelisk which is one of the most fascinating sites in Aswan. This massive granite obelisk was meant to be part of a much larger monument but was abandoned when a crack was discovered in the stone. It is believed that the obelisk was never finished due to a flaw in the stone.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today is our final day onboard and we'll be disembarking the ship in the morning after breakfast. It's hard to believe that our time onboard the Nile Carnival Cruise has come to an end. We're sad to say goodbye to our new friends before being driven to the airport or the Aswan train station by one of our tour guides. But we hope you have had a wonderful time with us and enjoyed all of the services and amenities we have to offer.

Thank you again and safe travels!
