Your cruise ship will leave Esna quite early today and it will sail to Edfu. Enjoy your breakfast on the water and
then when you reach Edfu your guide will accompany you on an excursion to see Edfu Temple, also known as the Temple of Horus. This temple was buried beneath the sand for more than 2,000 years, and as a result, it is the best-preserved ancient Egyptian cult temple ever discovered.
After spending so much time at the temple, you will return to the cruise ship, and it will then start sailing to Kom Ombo, with lunch being served along the way.
Later in the day, you will enjoy another excursion, this time to see the twin temples of Kom Ombo that were dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god. You will also visit the new Kom Ombo Crocodile Museum before returning to the ship.
Dinner will be served at the usual time, followed by some more onboard entertainment in the evening, and you will spend this night of your Movenpick Sun Ray Nile Cruise on the water at Kom Ombo.
