Twice a year, on February 21 and October, in an act of astronomical phoenix, you will see the magic when the sun goes through the temple at dawn to illuminate the statues of the gods.

After visiting the Abu Simbel temples, you will return back to the cruise ship for a very nice afternoon tea. You will also have the chance to attend an unusual sound and light show at Philae Temple (extra ticket required).

Complete your day with a dinner onboard and a wonderful night’s sleep in your cabin at Abu Simbel.

Included Meals: Lunch and Dinner

After breakfast will be served onboard the Movenpick Prince Abbas Lake Nasser Cruise, and you will get ready to start sailing towards Kasr Ibrim. Your cruise ship will stop for about 15 minutes giving you time to take some photos of the site from the ship’s sundeck.

After your shortstop near Kasr Ibrim, you will be transferred to visit three ancient sites, the Temple of Amada which is considered the oldest temple in Nubia, then visit the Temple of Derr, which was built during the nineteenth Dynasty by Ramses II, and the Tomb of Peanut who was responsible for the property management of the Horus Tempe. You will be amazed by these three sites, and visiting them will be an unforgettable experience that you are unlikely to forget in your lifetime.

Return to the Cruise ship again, and it will begin cruising towards Wadi El Seboua or the Valley of the Lions, with an appetizing lunch being served along the way, followed by an afternoon tea a bit later.

In the evening, you will have your drink at a small cocktail reception party, and then it will be time to sit down for another delicious dinner, which will be followed by a very amusing Nubian Show. Tonight will be spent aboard the ship at Wadi El Seboua.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Your breakfast buffet starts in the early morning, then the cruise ship will dock and you will be accompanied by your professional guide to visit the Temples of Wadi El Seboua, which was dedicated to god Amun and established by Ramses II. The temple is also known as (the Valley of the Lions ). Just like most of the Nubian buildings found along the shores of Lake Nasser, the Temples of Wadi El Seboua were also dismantled and relocated to higher ground when the water level of Lake Nasser started rising following the building of the Aswan High Dam.

When you complete your visit to the temple, we will be transferred back to the Prince Abbas Lake Nasser Cruise as it will start sailing towards Aswan. Spend the remaining time of the day as you wish. Your lunch will be served and you will enjoy your afternoon tea. Take your dinner on board, and you will spend the night aboard the boat in Aswan.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Enjoy your gourmet breakfast during your Tours in Egypt and get prepared to visit the wondrous Egypt Day Tours and sightseeing in Aswan, you will be accompanied by our Egyptologist guide to explore Kalabsha Temple, which dates back to the Greco-Roman period. This ancient temple was never really finished, but anyway, it is still regarded as one of the most extraordinary examples of Egyptian architecture in Nubia.

It is also the second-largest ancient construction to have been relocated to higher ground in order to preserve it from the rising water level of Lake Nasser which was a consequence of building the High Dam across the waters of the Nile between the year 1958 and 1970. This great temple has a wealth of fine decorations and artwork, and your private tour guide will explain the significance of these to you.

After visiting these amazing sites during Aswan day tours, the Cairo Top Tours representative will transfer you to the Airport or to the railway station as you request after we finish most of the Egypt Classic Tours.
