Later, you'll accompany your Egyptologist tour guide to explore Aswan, including the High Dam, which was built by Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser in 1960 AD to safeguard Egypt from the Nile flood. After that, you'll take a motorboat ride down the Nile River to Agilika Island, where you'll explore the Temple of Philae, which was built during the Greco-Roman period and is dedicated to the goddess Isis (mother of god Horus).
Finally, you will be taken to one of Aswan's most beautiful monuments, The Unfinished Obelisk, which is composed of red granite and dedicated to the god Amun Ra. You will return to your cruise after completing your day trip. On board, lunch will be served. Onboard, afternoon tea will be provided. At night, you are free to do whatever you choose.
