You will be offered your first onboard meal shortly after being checked in, and later that afternoon, one of our Egyptologist tour guides will take you on a tour of three major Aswan tourist destinations.

The Aswan High Dam and Lake Nasser will be your first stops. After that, you'll visit the old granite quarry to witness the gigantic Unfinished Obelisk, and then you'll see the ancient Temple of Philae. You will return to the ship after your tour and enjoy the rest of the day to yourself. In your waterside cabin at Aswan, spend the first night of your MS Salacia Nile trip.

Meals Included: Lunch and Dinner

Start your day off well with a delicious breakfast aboard the ship, and then enjoy the remainder of the morning as you like. Your MS Salacia Nile Cruise will depart Aswan at midday and sail to Kom Ombo, where your guide will take you on an additional onshore excursion. This week, you'll go to the magnificent Temple of Kom Ombo, which is actually two temples in one.

After your visit to the temple, return to the boat and spend the rest of the day as you wish while the cruise makes its way to Edfu. In your cabin on the water at Edfu, enjoy the last night of your MS Salacia Nile Cruise.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Your guide will take you to Edfu Temple shortly after breakfast today. It is also known as the Temple of Horus, and it is the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temple ever unearthed, having been buried for more than 2,000 years beneath the desert sand.

You will return to the cruise ship after exploring the Temple, and the ship will then sail to Luxor, with lunch served along the route. Because there are no more trips planned for today, you will enjoy the entire afternoon to yourself. In the evening, after dinner, there will be an authentic Egyptian Belly Dance Show. This time at Luxor, get another comfortable night's sleep on the water.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

You'll have one more breakfast on board before checking out and disembarking, after which you'll have two more tours, one on the Luxor East Bank and one on the Luxor West Bank.

First, you'll go to the East Bank to see two of Egypt's most popular ancient sites: Luxor Temple and the enormous ruins of Karnak Temple, which were built over a 2,500-year period. After that, you'll travel to the West Bank. You'll go to the Valley of the Kings, an ancient royal burial area with more than 60 rock-cut tombs, including Tutankhamun's and Pharaoh Ramses VI's tombs.

Following your visit to this eternal necropolis, you will be taken to view Queen Hatshepsut's stunning rock-cut mortuary temple, followed by a quick stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Our tour representative or a driver will bring you to Luxor Airport or Luxor Railway Station for your onward travel once your spectacular 4-Day MS Salacia Nile Cruise has come to an end.
