The dam was built to protect Egypt from the destruction that the annual Nile flood used to cause.

You will next be sent to the Unfinished Obelisk, a partially completed artifact that depicts the process of cutting an obelisk and releasing it from a mountain in ancient Egypt. This obelisk was most likely carved when Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most powerful women in ancient Egyptian history, was in power.

After a wonderful ship journey to the island, go on to the Philae Temple, the center of the temple of Goddess Isis, the major deity of the island. Without a worldwide salvage campaign to relocate the temple, the temple would have been completely drowned under the rising sea.

Then, start your adventurous day by going to the Valley of the Kings. In an effort to hide their wealth and protect their mummies, the New Kingdom pharaohs there carved their tombs into the mountains.

Your tour guide will explain everything from the outside because there is no inside instruction for the tombs. Explore the top 3 tombs from the ones that are accessible after that. The tombs of King Tuthmosis I, King Tuthmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramses VI, King Mrenptah, and Amenhotep II are the ones that are well known.

Visit the Black Desert after lunch for a breathtaking view of the region's craggy, mountain-like domes that stand out against the surrounding sand.

After that, go into the picturesque Agabat valley, which is close by and features majestic white cliff walls

Continue to Crystal Mountain, an incredibly rare structure that glistens and glows in the Egyptian sun and is composed completely of calcite crystal.

The White Desert, which received its name from the huge area of white sand it contains, is the next stop. It is possible to climb a few sand dunes for breath-taking views that never seem to end.

Everything in Egypt relied on the river called the Nile. The Nile gave them food, things they needed to survive, land to grow crops, a way to get around, and helped them build things. It was really important because it brought life to a place that would otherwise be empty.

The Khufu ship, which is a very old and special boat, was shown to everyone in a special museum near the big pyramid in 1982. The museum was a new and small building right next to the Great Pyramid.
