It is the third day of our Nile cruise tours on the Nile River. We will have an early breakfast before starting the Edfu and Kom Ombo tours, the Temple of Edfu, also called Temple of Horus because it was dedicated to the falcon god and protector of kingship. This temple is very well preserved since it was buried under the sand for many centuries.
We will return to the cruise ship and sail towards Kom Ombo. Meanwhile, we can enjoy the scenery of the eternal Nile River, visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, or as identified by the Sobek Temple. This temple has the characteristic that it is symmetrical, divided into 2 parts, one part was consecrated to the god Haroeris, the falcon god, while the other was devoted to Sobek, a local crocodile god of the region, ancient Egyptians linked Sobek to evil sometimes.
After this visit, we will sail towards Aswan. have dinner, and then we will enjoy the belly dance show aboard the Nile cruise vessel.
