Itinerary

Upon arrival at Luxor airport or the train station, our representative will be waiting for you to assist with everything you need and will transfer you in a private air-conditioned vehicle to board your Movenpick Royal Lotus Nile Cruise that sails from Luxor to Aswan.

After settling in the cabin, we can have our tasty buffet lunch. In the afternoon we will visit start Luxor east bank tours, where the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple are located. Start with the magnificent Karnak Temple, which the Pharaohs built and expanded throughout 2000 years during the New Kingdom to be an enormous temple that covers a huge area. Then you will be transferred to the astonishing Luxor Temple during the East Bank tours in Luxor. Enjoy dinner aboard your Nile River Cruise and overnight in Luxor.

You will have breakfast aboard the cruise ship and get prepared for the west bank of Luxor tours, these visits are absolutely spectacular, so get ready to enjoy a morning full of excitement and lots of photos! First, we will go to the legendary Valley of the Kings, a funeral complex with dozens of tombs of famous pharaohs such as Tutankhamen, Thutmose III, and Seti I. Then we will also have the opportunity to walk through the majestic mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and finally, we will be amazed at the Colossi of Memnon, statues that are 18 meters high with the image of King Amenhotep III, the two standing statues of the king are all that remains from his great temple that once was standing here.

We return to the ship, and while sailing to Edfu we will have our lunch meal and enjoy the facilities of the cruise ship. Afternoon tea and in the evening we will have dinner. Attend an oriental show afterward, known as the Galabya Party, Galabya is an Arabian dress for women and men.

It is the third day of our Nile cruise tours on the Nile River. We will have an early breakfast before starting the Edfu and Kom Ombo tours, the Temple of Edfu, also called Temple of Horus because it was dedicated to the falcon god and protector of kingship. This temple is very well preserved since it was buried under the sand for many centuries.

We will return to the cruise ship and sail towards Kom Ombo. Meanwhile, we can enjoy the scenery of the eternal Nile River, visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, or as identified by the Sobek Temple. This temple has the characteristic that it is symmetrical, divided into 2 parts, one part was consecrated to the god Haroeris, the falcon god, while the other was devoted to Sobek, a local crocodile god of the region, ancient Egyptians linked Sobek to evil sometimes.

After this visit, we will sail towards Aswan. have dinner, and then we will enjoy the belly dance show aboard the Nile cruise vessel.

We have breakfast aboard the Royal Lotus Nile cruise. During the Aswan sightseeing tours, we will visit the High Dam of Aswan that secured Egypt from the annual Nile floods, the Unfinished Obelisk within the granite quarries that is considered the biggest obelisk in Egypt, cut during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut od the new kingdom, and the Temple of Philae, which is a set of temples and rooms that is dedicated to the goddess Isis. This temple is located on the island of Agilkia, although it was originally on the island of Philae and that's why it got its name (Philae) but had to be relocated due to the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
