Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and drive you to Saqqara, where you will visit the first tomb that the ancient Egyptians built in the shape of a pyramid.The Step Pyramid was designed by the clever architect Imhotep and built during Egypt's third dynasty for King Djoser, who was the first King to have a step pyramid built for him.
The trip gives visitors access to the pyramids of King Teti, the first ruler of the sixth dynasty, and King Teti's pyramid, which was constructed during the ancient kingdom. King Unas' pyramid, which contains the most impressive burial chambers of any pyramid, is also included in the tour (no extra ticket is required).
You'll go to one of the Saqqara Mastaba Tombs of the Nobles to experience everyday life scenes from ancient Egypt, complete with all of its activities and even the many tomb hallways.
You will be taken to the Memphis Museum after lunch at a local restaurant in Saqqara to see the alabaster sphinx, which is the second-largest sphinx statue from ancient Egypt and is made from an 80-ton block of marble, as well as the enormous limestone statue of King Ramses ll of the nineteenth dynasty, the greatest builder and ruler of the New Kingdom.
Finally, you will be taken to Dahshur, one of the most fascinating ancient Egyptian archaeological sites, where you will visit the pyramids of King Senfru, the founder of the 4th dynasty, and learn about the history of the pyramids ( the old kingdom). The Great Pyramid and Khafra's pyramid are the two largest ancient Egyptian pyramids, while the Red Pyramid is the tallest structure in the Dahshur Necropolis. You will also go to the Bent Pyramid, which was Snefru's second pyramid. The name given to this pyramid by the ancient Egyptians was "Sneferu is Shining in the South" or "The Southern Shining Pyramid," not the "Bent Pyramid."
