Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Alexandria in the morning. Then, our certified tour guide will meet you to travel to Cairo to see Giza Pyramids, we will take you to visit the following historical sites:
The Great Pyramid of Cheops is a huge pyramid in the Giza Necropolis in Egypt. It is one of the most famous pyramids in the world.
The Great Pyramid was built 4500 years ago during the Old Kingdom. You can explore it if you like or take pictures while your tour guide tells you the story of the pyramid.
The second Pyramid of King Chephren was built sometime after the first. It is a bit taller and is made out of more durable materials.
Chephren was the son of Cheops, and he built his pyramid in Giza slightly smaller than his father's. He also built the famous Sphinx, which is the largest sphinx in Egypt.
The third pyramid of King Mycerinus is a large, impressive structure. It is a very important part of history and is a reminder of the great king who built it.
You will be able to see the smallest royal pyramid in Giza, built for King Mycerinus of the 4th dynasty, from a high vantage point. You can also enjoy a camel ride in the Giza Pyramids (an optional activity) to take amazing photos.
The Great Sphinx is a big, scary-looking statue that is located in Giza, Egypt. It is believed to have been built around 2500 BC, and it is one of the most famous ancient monuments in the world.
The lion statue was carved from one large stone and stood as a guardian over the necropolis. It was as strong as a lion and looked humanlike.
The Valley Temple is a place where people go to pray and learn about God. It is a very special place, and it is very important to remember to respect it.
Then you will go to an Egyptian local restaurant to have lunch before visiting the Egyptian Museum, the famous museum in Egypt that contains a lot of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Some of these artifacts are on display in separate areas of the museum, and others are kept in storage. One of the oldest temples in Egypt is located right in front of the Sphinx, and it was built specifically to help perform a ritual that would allow a mummy to eat, drink, and speak properly in the afterlife. If you're ever in Egypt and want to visit a museum, I recommend the Egyptian Museum!
