Upon your arrival in Egypt, a representative from Cairo Top Tours will be waiting for you at Cairo International Airport with a signboard bearing your name. He will accompany you to your hotel.

You will be transferred to the hotel with a private air-conditioned modern vehicle. When you arrive at the Giza pyramids hotel or similar, the Cairo Top Tours guide will assist with a quick check-in and he will review your Egypt Christmas and New Year Tours itinerary with you to confirm pick-up times for each tour. At the hotel, you will be served a welcome drink.

Overnight in Cairo

Start with your tour to Giza Pyramids to see the huge structures that were built by the great pharaohs of Egypt during the 4th dynasty, Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. The three pyramids are believed to be built according to a group of stars with the main entrance locates to the north to serve as burial tombs for the semi-god kings. The biggest one belongs to King Cheops and your tour guide will get into details about why and how the great pyramids were built.

Proceed to the high spot to enjoy camel riding in Giza Pyramids (optional) and your Bedouin guide will capture impressive tricky photos for you.

Now we will see the Great Sphinx, the man-headed lion figure which is 73 meters tall and we will also enter the Valley Temple which is another interesting part of the funerary complex of King Chephren.

Have your delightful lunch meal in one of the good quality restaurants and transfer to Memphis, now known as Mit Rahina to see the open-air museum with its amazing artifacts, especially the alabaster sphinx of Memphis, and the colossal statue of Ramses II, the new kingdom pharaoh who is the owner of the impressive Abu Simbel Temples in Aswan.

Enjoy your delicious breakfast at the hotel in Cairo and then you will be escorted by your accredited Egyptologist to visit The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is a museum, that showcases the country's rich history and culture, and is the largest museum in Egypt dedicated to the civilization of ancient Egypt.

One of the most notable displays at the NMEC is the "Royal Mummies Hall," which showcases the mummies of 22 ancient Egyptian kings and queens. This exhibit provides visitors in Cairo day tours with an up-close view of the mummies and their elaborate burial practices.

Alexandria is built in 332 B.C. by the famous leader Alexander who was a great king of the ancient Greek Kingdom. He established one of the largest empires in the ancient world, and it had become the Capital city of Egypt for almost 1000 years until the Arab conquest in the 7th century, and it remained the second biggest and most important city after Cairo.

When you arrive we will start our day tour in Alexandria by visiting the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, which was a private tomb of a rich Romanized Egyptian family that has been expanded in later centuries to become a burial for the common people of Alexandria. From there you will have a short drive to the great Pompey's Pillar, which is the highest-standing pillar in Egypt built by the people of Alexandria in gratuity for the Roman Emperor Diocletian who diverted a portion of the annual tribute of corn and grain that Egypt used to send to Rome to the relief of the citizens.

also, you will visit the Library of Alexandria It was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world, containing a vast collection of manuscripts, books, and other materials. The library was known for its impressive architecture, which included a massive reading room with space for hundreds of scholars. Then you will be driven to the seaside to enjoy the views of the Mediterranean Sea until you reach the Citadel of Qaitbay, which is established in 1477 A.D. on the ruins where the legendary lighthouse Pharos used to be standing. after that you will visit The Abu Al-Abbas Al-Mursi Mosque, the mosque is considered to be one of the most important Islamic landmarks in Alexandria and attracts many visitors and worshippers every year. Its distinctive features include a large dome.
