You will have your breakfast at the hotel, after that your private tour guide will transfer you to visit the Egyptian Museum. The museum has the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities all over the world, as well as the only royal treasure that was found intact – the Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh Tutankhamen.
We will next stop at old Cairo tours, where you will see the Coptic monuments and Islamic monuments all together in an unforgettable, peaceful view it could only be seen in Egypt, the land of peace.
We will visit the Citadel of Saladin including Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside and get a panoramic view of Islamic Cairo with mosques, minarets, and domes that are hundreds of years old and some over a thousand years old.
We will continue to Coptic Cairo, where we will visit the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon and the Hanging Church suspended above its ancient bastions, the Church of St Sergius, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue said to be the site of the pharaoh’s palace where the basket of Moses was picked up from the Nile.
After Lunch we will move to visit Islamic Cairo, exploring the walls and gates of this medieval city and its old streets dating back to the 10th century. Finally, you will spend your evening having tea at Fishawy oldest cafe in Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar.
