After breakfast, your private guide will pick you up to begin your Cairo day tour of the famous Giza Plateau, where you will see the Great Pyramid of Cheops, one of the only surviving monuments from the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
We'll have an amazing view of the pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple while we're on our Giza pyramids tour. And if we want to do something optional, we can ride camels!
Now, let's go to the Saqqara Necropolis to visit the Djoser Step Pyramid Complex, the first building built out of stone all over the world. The tour includes the entrance to the pyramid of Teti, which has the most magnificent interior amongst all the accessible pyramids, and the Tombs of the Nobles at Saqqara, which are built for the husbands of two daughters of King Teti.
Ancient Egyptian life is beautifully depicted on the walls and corridors of 4000-year-old tombs.
After lunch, drive to Memphis, the capital of the Pharaohs for thousands of years and a religious and cultural center of great importance for 3,000 years of ancient Egyptian civilization, and visit the open-air museum famous for its Alabaster Sphinx. Return to your hotel and spend the night in Cairo.
